The comfort levels are superb, and every care has been taken to ensure that no matter what the physical proportions or preferences of the user, they get a stress-free workout. The reclining seat is well padded, and has a 20 degrees range of motion. The breathable fabric on the back of the seat is a welcome addition, especially when the sweat starts to pour out. The technology on the Life Fitness R3 exercise bike is unbeatable, and you have the option of setting every ride differently and enjoying varying workouts. There are 10 different pre-set programmes and they employ different kinds of resistance levels. The Hills Mode is the toughest, and the other modes include Cardio, Race and Fat Burn. In all, the Advanced Console comes with 5 classic workouts, 3 goal workouts, 5 heart-rate controlled (‘Heartsync’) workouts, where the resistance is automatically adjusted to maintain the given heart-rate zone, and 2 custom workouts. The computer fitted into the machine can save 2 different user profiles. One very convenient feature is that the R3 Advanced Lifecycle with Advanced Console is self-powered. So, you don’t need to bother with cords and power outlets. Just put it anywhere you want, and move it around as you please.
Like all other Lifecycle products, the body is flawlessly constructed. The frame is a solid steel-welded structure that is both sturdy and durable. It comes with a lifetime warranty, and you would expect no less from this brand. Installation is very easy, since the instructions are thorough and clear and all the necessary tools are provided with the gadget. All in all, if you think you can afford the R3 Advanced Lifecycle with Advanced Console, you will find it very difficult to top this buy.
